the Wrights Lake meadow

The Wrights Lake meadow affords many gorgeous views, and a surprising variety of plantlife, critters, and birds.
This high up, there is snow nine months of the year. So mid-July is late spring, and the wildflowers are in full bloom.

The meadow is covered with flowers ... fireweed, lilies, iris, lupine, penstemon, salvia, columbine, meadowrue, larkspur, plus many we don't know. While these pictures don't really do the flowers justice, they completely miss all the butterflies and birds flying around ... as well as the audio track of bird calls.
